La Bamboo in Stuttgart

La Bamboo is really a very good address and always excellent quality. The “to go offer” is also always great and extremely fresh and hot. The veggie dishes are also very fresh and clean. I can really only recommend the restaurant. No other restaurant can pack the food hot - so that you can still eat hot at home.

Best Sri Lankan food I've had in a long time, and I can't want to come back to La Bamboo! The extensive and affordable menu is perfect for sharing dishes, and the wait staff was fantastic for making recommendations. Good job Le bamboo restaurant! And thanks again to the awesome waiter who helped us during our visit.

We were eating here for the first time and had to find out that it was a very good restaurant, the kitchen was above average and we liked it very much, the degree of spiciness was European hot, very hot but still very tasty and the service was also very courteous and attentive to us The food was shared and explained how it is composed in the whole of a restaurant that you definitely have to visit when you are there or if you are in the mood for Sri Lankan cuisine we will definitely be back

Great restaurant with delicacies from Sri Lanka. We came across La Bamboo by chance and are overjoyed to have finally found a restaurant that offers authentic Sri Lankan food. The atmosphere is very pleasant, everything is very hygienic and clean. The advice makes the difference, a lot of time is taken for the customer so that he / she finds the right dish. Very good food and large portions, relatively long waiting times, but worth it

At first we stood in the restaurant without help and were then silently led to our seat. The food was average and the friendliness still needs to be trained vigorously.

Long waiting times and very slow service. Even though we made reservations and went, we had to wait for 40 min for food to be served on our table. Food taste was ok. Not worth the long wait and money. One additional star for compensating long waiting times with Lassi.

Very tasty food and friendly staff. We were in a group and ordered different dishes to share. I can only recommend it as every dish is different. Everything tasted very good, I was in Sri Lanka myself 3 years ago and felt right back on vacation. Authentic cuisine. We would love to come back, thank you very much!

Food was delicious and much better than expected. Feuhling rolls are not standard and taste great. And the rest of the food is just as great! The only thing that bothered me is that the waitress doesn't speak German. Otherwise everything is great!

Delicious food for a fair price. Especially loved the variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Only downside was the service: waiters were somewhat hard to get a hold on (we waited a lot and went inside twice to talk to them). Maybe they were understaffed...

Very delicious food from Sri Lanka. My highlight is the dish with sweet and sour sauce and paratha. The service is always polite and the prices more than reasonable.

Hmmm not bad at all, but there is better options for indian food. Also the waitress seems a bit weird sometimes And they were a bit slow

This place is nothing special and especially not kid friendly. We went with our two little daughters who are well used to curry. We asked for some water for them and they did not even bother to give them two glasses, everything had to be asked for explicitly. We were not offered a high chair either. This was not the case in other restaurants we went to. They tried to talk me out of the extra spicy option - not good customer experience. The spiciest level was spicy but not THAT spicy as they were saying. All our dishes were bland tasting. The “sri lankan paella” contained a few pieces of seafood and thats it. The decor is plain and has no charm. I do not recommend this place, especially not for families.

This place is okay. Service was good except for one waitress. Would come back if and when the dosa gets original without being mere pancake, otherwise good experience.

Finally found a decent curry in Stuttgart. Top notch food and reasonable prices. Fair warning, when they ask if you want your food german spicy or sri lankan spicy, the latter sure is hot

This place has become one of our go to for delicious spicy food. Anything on their menu is good as we've been here many times and always pleasantly surprised. We always recommend this place to all of our friends. Keep up the good work guys ?

Really good food and friendly service

Good Sri Lankan cuisine. We ordered the culinary journey for two which had a variety of vegetarian beef and chicken curry along will daal (lentils)that was served with basmati rice and papadum. The taste was good the service was polite and it was worth the visit.

?? I'm my self is Sri Lankan and I know the Sri Lankan cuisine ? very well. So trust me here. Haha Best place ever and absolutely love the dishes they have. They do utilize authentic spices and traditional recepies that we do use in the island. Must try : Sri Lankan soursop juice can be ordered, then Pol Rotty (Coconut Rotty, my favorite ?as well) Kottu also available (Typical Sri Lankan.) Devil chicken curry (it's a little spicy, but they'll adjust it for your tounge) I do recommend this place for anyone, Nora and Leonard (stewards) will explain you guys everything and also the chilli level? "Europian mittel scharf" is the best for all Europeans. Highly recommend you Guys, Go and enjoy ??

We liked prawns in white whine and lentils chips a lot. Don't even try to go for Sri-Lanka spicy level of dishes, if you're from Europe.

Very delicious and authentic Sri Lankan/Indian food! Everything we tried here was full of flavour and really generous portions. The ambiance was nice and welcoming and excellent service!! Definitely would be back here on our next visit!! :)

Really good and tasty Sri Lankan dishes. Be careful with the spicyness you choose the hotter ones are actually really hot. Prices are also completely fair.
